Veg Manchurian


Ingredients :
  • 2 cups Grated Cabbage
  • 2 cups Grated Carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped Spring Onion
  • 1 Chopped Capsicum(square pieces)
  • 1 Chopped Onion(square pieces)
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 3-4 Crushed Garlic
  • 2 cups Maida
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1tsp Soya Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 Red Chilli Powder
Method:
  • Mix grated cabbage and carrots and chopped spring onion.
  • Add 2 cups Maida.
  • Then add pepper powder, red chilli powder, soya sauce, crushed garlic and little salt to it.
  • Make small balls (like koftas) of the mixture .
  • Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the balls till golden brown, drain and keep aside.
  • Now in a separate pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
  • Sauté garlic, green chillies and capsicum and onion.
  • Add , salt, pepper powder, red chilli powder, and soya sauce. Cook it for 2-3 min.
  • Then add the fried balls to the mixture.
  • Cook the vegetable Manchurian for 3-4 minutes and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander.

VEGETABLE BIRYANI RECIPE




Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Mixed Vgetable (cauliflower, potato, carrot, french beans)
  • 150 gms Green Peas
  • 3 Finely Sliced Onion
  • 2 Finely Sliced Green Chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon(dalchini)
  • Caraway Seeds(zeera)
  • 4 Cloves (laung)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 4 Tomato Ginger, garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 4 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
Method:
  • Wash the basmati rice well before cooking.Then take rice with 3-3/4 cup water and a little salt.Cook it in pressure cooker.
  • Cut all the vegetables into small thin pieces and fry each one of it separately in oil. Fry the green peas also.
  • Take 1 tblsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, green chilli, cinnamon and caraway seeds powder, cloves, ginger&garlic paste, black pepper powder and stir for about half minute. Then add onions and saute them for a minute ot till they get pink in color.
  • Add salt and red chilli powder and stir.
  • Add fine chopped tomatoes and fry till they are properly cooked.
  • Add all the fried vegetables.
  • Add the cooked rice and mix well with very light hands so that the rice grain doesn't break. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  • Take this vegetable biryani out in a rice serving dish.
  • Garnish with green coriander leaves.
  • Serve the vegetable (veg ) biryani hot with raita and pickle.

HARA BHARA KEBAB:



Ingredients:
• 300 gms Potatoes (boiled)
• 150 gms Peas (boiled)
• 150 gms Spinach (boiled)
• ½ cup Coriander Leaves (chopped)
• 2" piece of Ginger (grated)
• 1 tbsp Chaat Masala
• Salt to taste
• Cooking Oil for frying

Method:
  • Mix and mash together the potatoes, peas and spinach till a smooth paste is formed.
  • Add coriander leaves, ginger, salt and chat masala to it and mix well.
  • Take the mixture and shape into patties.
  • Heat the oil on a heavy-bottomed pan and shallow-fry the kebabs until crisp on each side.
  • Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
  • Hara Bhara Kebab is ready to eat. Serve hot with chutney

VEGLOLLY POP

Ingredients :
Springonion-2, capsicum- 1, chopped onion-1 1tsp boiled corn, 1tsp boiled green peas, chopped cabbage, copped cauliflower, 1/2 cup maida, 1tsp cornflour, 1tsp soya sauce, 1tsp tomato sauce, 1tsp chilli sauce, salt to taste bread sticks, oil to fry.

Method :
Mixed all the vegetables (Spring-onion capsicum, chopped onion.1tsp boiled corn,1tsp boiled green peas, chopped cabbage, chopped cauliflower), add Maida and corn flour into vegetables, add all sauces and salt in this mixer.mix it properly and add some water if needed make a small ball of this mixer and insert the bread stick into the balls, finally deep fry this balls and serve hot with tomato sauce.
